Managing Email Templates
Once you have created and saved email templates, you can view, edit, organize, and take actions on them from the template list view. This article covers how to access your templates, use folders to keep them organized, and work with individual templates after they are saved.
Accessing the Template List
To view your saved templates:
- Click Interaction in your toolbar.
- In the Email Design Center card, click Edit Your Emails.
This opens the View and Edit Your Emails screen, which lists all of your saved templates. Each template shows its name, subject line, and creation date. Use the search bar at the top to find a specific template by name.
Creating New Templates and Folders
The + Create button at the top right of the list opens a dropdown with two options:
- Create Mailing Template: Opens the Create New Email screen. This is an alternative path to creating a template; the result is the same as clicking Create New Email from the Interaction dashboard. For the full creation walkthrough, see Building and Designing Email Templates.
- Create Folder: Creates a new folder for organizing your templates. Folders are useful when you have many templates and want to group them by purpose (newsletters, event invitations, promotional emails) or by time period.
Organizing Templates with Folders
Folders help you manage a growing library of templates. Click into a folder to view its contents, or use the three-dot menu on a folder to rename or delete it.
To move a template into a folder, use the three-dot menu on the template and select the move option.
Taking Actions on a Template
Click the three-dot menu to the right of any template to see the available actions.

- Edit: Opens the template in the editor so you can modify its content, layout, or settings. The edit screen is identical to the creation screen except the heading reads "Edit Mailing Template" and the save button reads Modify Template. Make your changes and click Modify Template to save.
- Send Campaign: Opens the Send Email screen where you can select recipients and send or schedule the template as a campaign. For the full send workflow, see Sending and Scheduling Email Campaigns.
- Copy link to share: Copies a shareable link to your clipboard. This is useful for sharing the email on social media. For details, see Sharing Email Content on Social Media.
Editing an Existing Template
When you open a template for editing, the screen looks the same as when you first created it. All of the settings (Email Name, Subject Line, Conversation, advance settings) and the editor canvas are available for modification. You can change any content block, rearrange the layout, update the subject line, or switch the attached conversation.
A common workflow is to copy an existing template as the starting point for a new one. If the overflow menu includes a Copy or Duplicate option, use it to create a copy, then edit the copy with new content while preserving the original.
